EFC MPOWER SUMMIT
One amazing event after another. Boy, was August a busy month. After attending and celebrating Grand Master Fred Degerbergs 10th Dan Promotion and birthday, we all headed to Baltimore, Maryland to attend the EFC MPower Summit. Once again, the EFC event was a star studded and a wonderful experience.
I want to congratulate John Cokinos, Commander Ned Muffley and the entire EFC staff on hosting such a wonderful event. We are always made to feel like family. This year's EFC Mpower Summit, like every year, had an amazing line up of speakers. Ernie Reyes, Dave Kovar, Buzz Durkin, Steve Sohn, David Deaton, John Broussard, Fred DePalma, Kathy Faust, Luigi Cuellar, Garland and Brigette Johnson, Thomas Clifford, Dave Young, Kathy Olovsky, Steven K Hayes, Joy Santamaria, Charles Chi, Bill Taylor, Romico Hayes, and yours truly were amongst some of the wonderful speakers.
I have so many take aways from all these seminars that I attended. If you have never been to an EFC convention, I highly recommend you to take plan to next years EFC convention, which is scheduled to take place on August 12th and 13th 2016 in Orlando, Florida. My New York Visit
Upon concluding the EFC event, I flew to New York City to meet my family and also visit some of my Martial Arts friends and their schools. New York is always a fun place to visit with so much to do and so many good friends and family members to see. I was delighted to visit Luigi Cuellar's and Alex Chan's NuBreed Martial Arts school in Queens New York. I was also honored to teach a mini seminar for their members. I loved every minute of it. The facility is world class and the instruction is top notch. I highly recommend anybody that is going to New York that they should visit this school. Both of these gentlemen are gracious hosts and world class Martial Artists.
My dear friend, Sifu Rafael Gomez, just opened his new location in Long Island, New York, which is a humongous 10,000 square feet facility. Sifu Rafael is a high level kung fu practicioner and always on a cutting edge of our industry. I was very happy to hold a private 1-on-1 consulting session with him and hope that he will be able to take his beautiful new school to the next level.
