Senior Grand Master Fred Degerberg 10th Dan Promotion and Birthday Celebration
I want to congratulate my dear respected friend and mentor, Senior Grand Master Fred Degerberg on receiving his 10th dan promotion last month. His promotion ceremony was simply amazing. One of its kind. The who’s who of Martial Arts living legends, executives, champions, Grand Masters, and celebrities, were all in attendance. I believe he had over 500 guest and Martial Art experts in the audience. I was humbled and honored to have been part of this event and highly humbled and honored to have sat on the executive board of grandmasters.
I am very grateful to senior Grand Master Fred Degerberg for recognizing me to the 9th dan level in the Degerberg MMA blend system. Along with me, Degerberg International recognized Senior Master Kazi Qais as a 7th Dan and Senior Master Jeff Barley as a 5th Dan. We are honored to be associated with such a prestigious organization and group of people.
Grand Master Degerberg, as you all know, is one of the most unique and loved individual in our industry. By the way, we also got to celebrate his 70th birthday at the event. A very Happy Birthday to you, Grand Master Fred Degerberg.
Buzz Durkin releases his new book: "Success is Waiting."
At Master Degerberg's 10th Dan event, I received a very special gift from my dear friend, respected Senior Master, Buzz Durkin. It was his, "Success is Waiting," book. Mr. Durkin thoughtfulness in bringing me this book at this event, had really touched me. Anything that man writes or presents, I will always be amongst the first to learn. I feel Master Durkin is one of the best out there and all of his wisdom is priceless. The launch of this book was officially done at the EFC convention. I've already read the entire book from cover to cover and can vouch that this is one the best book ever written for the Martial Arts Professional anywhere. I highly recommend you to get a copy. FYI, I bought a copy for all my staff and instructors which I will be handing out real soon.
